Cats, ec..
Peter and I ate frittata in the backyard for dinner. It's been a quiet couple of days... recuperating from Memorial weekend. Doesn't Grayby look like a little rabbit in this picture! Also I'm getting a much better green thumb! I planted some poppy's, cilantro and lunaria (google it, they're beautiful!) in a bunch of pots, and all of them are sprouting!

Memorial Weekend Part 2
A whole bunch of us went to Zoar Valley Saturday and then to East Otto State Park to camp, it was the most perfect weather. The campsite was full of campers for the holiday weekend, and right when we thought we might be out of luck finding a spot we magically came upon a spacious and private area right off a dirt road. Jason and Lara great friends from Philadelphia were with us. We were all having such a great time, the next day we didn't want it to end.... so we went to my friend Jess's parents house in Grand Island and camped, had a fire, went swimming, ate clams. It's going to be hard to top this weekend, but we'll have all summer to try! Btw, how cute is Jess's dog Shipwreck!!
Memorial Weekend Part 1
The past week has been amazing. Last Thursday Peter and I cooked a delicious meal and ate in our lovely backyard. Our one tree blossomed and it smells so amazing back there! Is it honeysuckle? These pictures of Blacky were taken in my back hallway, apparently the landlord is going to be fixing it up, but to be honest I don't mind it so much - how spooky are these pictures of Blacky though! And last but not least my second home, Casa Di Pizza. Nothing beats sitting out with friends on a hot Spring night drinking cold delicious beers.

Birthday Weekend
I turned the big 2-8 this past Tuesday, and I've basically been celebrating this entire week. We've had some great weather and there have been a lot of fun things going on in Buffalo. We had a picnic in the park, my friends put on a show in my old studio space that was amazing, for the finale Franky fogged up the joint and played some jams. And on Sunday Peter and I went to Letchworth Park which is one of the most underrated and amazing places in the world! A billion times better than Niagara Falls... I plan on going back as much as possible this summer.
Peter climbed out on this bridge after this photo - I stood at the end, I was too chicken.

Bedroom
We decided to put our bedroom in the teenier tinier of the two rooms, that way our studio could be in the big room with the beautiful view of the backyard. Even though it's tiny I love it, it's so cozy. It's probably 1/6 the size of our old bedroom. But it's simple - it feels like a rustic vacation bedroom. I kind of feel like I'm in a cabin when I'm in there. It's just a bed and a dresser and a few pictures ... eventually I would like to get a plant or two in here. Below is a song from one of my favorite records that I've been listening to nonstop.

Plants etc...
Heirloom Tomatoes |
Apricot trees, so far so good. I have quite the black thumb - but these guys have leaved up and everything! |
Starting to organize the Spare Bedroom/Studio. It's quite a process I need to get knitting because I have way too much yarn (and still some left at the studio) |
Pot Holders I made a few weeks ago for the new apartment |
