Change is Good

So I changed my blog name and web address.... I've had more time to think and carlychris0515 just doesn't have the ring I wanted.  It's what I always use for screen names and emails - so I figured it would be easy, but I hate easy, easy is no fun.  A lot is changing in my life (new apartment, new job, masters degree...), so why not add blog name to that list.  And now onto the more serious portion of this post: Men in Bowties!!!

So this May my roommates and I are moving into a new amazing apartment about two blocks away.  Out my bedroom window is the roof of what is eventually going to be a coffee shop.  It's a beautiful open rooftop space.  We're planning on making it a great summer place for us to hang out.  We want lots of plants, vegetable gardens, twinkly lights, a grill, an outdoor bar so we can make margaritas, and some nice outdoor furniture.  I can't wait!  Hopefully we can get a lot done before summer is here.

I think these scooters are the cutest thing ever!  They would be perfect for going to the farmers market this summer!  I can see my basket now, filled with lots of delicious vegetables, homemade bread, jam, and a bottle of wine.  If you have a moment take some time to look through this website - they have some amazing stuff!

This bag is from Quote at Etsy.  It's all sold out... but I want it!! I think I might try to buy cool canvas fabric and replicate this.  I have soo many projects in the works though... I probably won't get to this until the end of the summer, and then it will be too late : (
