Movie

I watched the French film, Heartbreaker yesterday.   Oh lordy, if you haven't seen it you must!  I'm pretty sure my sister recommended it to me awhile ago, I can't believe it took me so long getting around to see it.  Romain Duris is such a stone cold fox... no seriously though - swoon.  I'm dedicating the rest of this week to watching his movies on netflix watch instantly.

Lamp

Ummm.... yeah.  This upcycled doily lamp, by Shannon South is pretty suuweet.  So creative!  I love the shadows it casts on the wall.  Reanna we are making this!

Scarf

I knit this new scarf yesterday on my new big circular knitting needles.  I love using big needles and chunkier yarn, it's so much quicker, and much more cozy and comfy.

Furniture

Check out this before and after project from Color-Stripes.  I wish I had the money for a studio space to work on furniture projects like this.  I have so many ideas, just lacking the time, money, and space.  One of these days...

Music

I ordered a Brigitte Bardot record on ebay the other day... it's pretty great.  I will probably play it on repeat in the summer while drinking fancy fruity cocktails and playing dress up with my besties, Reanna and Megan.  Have a listen.

Toronto

For Christmas, Peter got us tickets to see How to Dress Well in Toronto at The Drake Hotel, annddd we are staying overnight!! Peter and I did this last year for my birthday, when he got us tickets to see Animal Collective.  It's just the greatest venue, hotel, restaraunt, bar, cafe, drug store eveeerrrr.  Here are some pictures, be jealous.
